Following a horrible tragedy on January 1, 2023, Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner was flown from his property near Lake Tahoe in Reno, Nevada, to a hospital. According to a spokeswoman for the “Avengers” actor, who is also known for the role of “Hawkeye,” he is “getting outstanding treatment” and is in “critical but stable condition” after suffering injuries in a weather-related mishap while shovelling snow earlier today. His representative informed People magazine on Jan “We can confirm that Jeremy had surgery today, January 2, 2023, as a result of acute chest damage, orthopaedic problems, and other conditions. He has recovered from surgery and is still in the intensive care unit, where his status is serious but stable.” According to a source close to Jeremy, the actor suffered “severe” injuries.
Jeremy tweeted this selfie from his hospital bed on January 3 with the remark, “I appreciate all of your warm thoughts. I’m currently too messed up to type. But I send you all my love.” The next day, his spokesman added in a statement, “Jeremy is making good progress; he is awake, speaking, and cheerful. He is still in critical but stable condition in the ICU. The love and support being shown to him has him feeling inundated. While he recovers with his close family, the family kindly requests your continuing good vibes.”
